General Information: Non-social fear is a prevalent behavioral issue in dogs, often triggered by stimuli such as loud noises, new situations, or heights and surfaces. A study of Finnish pet dogs found that 32% were sensitive to noise, 11% were afraid of new situations, and 24% were afraid of surfaces and heights.
